In general, it is familiar for infants or kids to take a nap and have a snack. These actions are essential time for them because they absorb a lot of information from outside. In modern life, children with ASD or ADHD have been exposed to a lot more information than ordinary kids. Therefore, they are often tired. It is the same situation for autistic adults. For these reasons, taking a nap and having snacks are essential actions for people with ASD or ADHD for having break time.
To begin with, some people with ASD can prevent eating many foods, more than ordinary persons. Some people often have a meal quickly. Also, they have skipped lunch because of their tight schedules. Thus, they have too much dinner in the evening. If they have a snack at the regular time, they can prevent eating faster and having many foods.
Besides, infants and kids always need to maintain their brains because they are exposed to a lot of information in modern life. Have you been napping when you are kindergarten kids or nursery infants? Taking a nap is an essential time because they maintain their brains. Likewise, people with ASD also need to take a nap because they absorb a lot of information. For this reason, they are often drowsy.
In conclusion, taking a nap and having a snack is an important time for infants or kids. But also, people with developmental disorders need this time to maintain their brains.
