Q: People should use words as simple as possible in their work. Some people consider they should learn expressive words. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Write at least 250 words.

In general, it is an essential skill for people to communicate with others using simple words. In contrast, most people have to utilize a lot of words. I agree with increasing the chance of learning many expressions. This essay will explain the advantages of learning many words.

To commence with, people who know many words can explain acquaintances’ characteristics well. Some call centre staff are good at answering the phone. Some supervisors can introduce them to others as a person who looks like a broadcasting anchor. Also, some people often study at night. Their friends can explain their character as “A Night owl.” By using these expressions, they can explain their characteristics to others well. They can introduce their acquaintances and friends well.

Besides, people can learn abundant expressions by reading classical books. Between 794 and 1185 A.D. (The Heian Era), many Japanese poets expressed various scenes well. In The Pillow Book, Sei-Shonagon, a female author, portrayed spring as the start of the four seasons, referring to it with the term “Akebono” (Daybreak). Next, people can know the word differences. One of the talents of autistic people can explain as a “Word Detailed Thinker.” in English. But in Japanese, there is nothing good about expressions with simple words. Thus, people can learn about different cultures through many words.

To sum up, I agree with learning various expressions. People can introduce others well through the abundance of their expressions. Also, they can know a lot of different cultures. Overall, they should learn a lot of words.
